Job Description

General

  1. Manage the Information and Data hand-over to the client of project information and documentation in accordance with the agreed procedures
  2. Review the clients’ Information and Data Management requirements for the project and develop the Information and Data Management related documentations (e.g. strategy, plan, procedures, templates and guidelines) to be concluded in the projects setup
  3. Monitor all Information and Data interfaces with Client or other third parties to ensure requirements are addressed, and coordinate with adequate stakeholders if necessary

Coordination with stakeholders

  1. Coordinate/Advise all the project teams (e.g. Engineering, Supply Chain, Completion & Commissioning, and subcontractors) to ensure information and data requirements are understood and complied with
  2. Ensure each team member understands his/her role and responsibilities related to the Project Information and Data Management Plans
  3. Partner with Discipline Managers to ensure adequate number of qualified staff are assigned to the project to meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements per the project contract
  4. MODEC started to focus on complying with Information and Data Management requirements, and understanding from different departments/stakeholders are crucial, so we need someone who can really involve departments and work closely to build not only protocols but also an organizational understanding and culture towards Information and Data Management.
  5. Coordinate with Digital/IT team to ensure that the Project DB and Tools are properly setup as per project requirement
  6. Enterprise Data Platform/Data Management Program and Information and Data Management related tools are under development from scratch in MODEC, hence great collaborator to provide necessary input/feedback to Digital/IT team is required (need wholistic and long-term view to contribute to the enterprise level architecture, rather than solely standing on the project requirements view)
  7. Coordinate and interface with Clients’ PIC on all aspects of Information and Data Management

Quality Assurance / Reporting

  • Identify issues related to data quality, and coordinate with/support stakeholders populating the data to eliminate the issues
  1. It is essential to establish the process as well as disseminate the good understanding towards importance of data quality from stakeholders populating data
  • Develop data quality objectives for the project with adequate KPIs to reflect the Project Information and Data Management status

Job Experience Required:

  1. 10+ years experiences in the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry
  2. 5 years in a similar position and/or a project management role
  3. Proven experience in managing Engineering information management systems, IT infrastructure and services
  4. Familiar with Digital transformation

Requirements

  1. Engineering/Science bachelor or master’s degree
  2. Good understanding of systems and software related EPCI and O&M (e.g. AVEVA, SAP, EDMS, Completion, CMMS)
  3. Cross functional view and understanding of EPC and O&M process
  4. Management and leadership skills
  5. Communicative/ great team player
  6. Stakeholder management skills
