Responsibilities

  • Oversee all international assignments (both inbound and outbound) and ensure compliance with the policies
  • Part of the People Services Team whose mandate is to ensure that we uplift our service delivery to internal clients
  • Work closely with various stakeholders / counterparts to build up and refine the current international assignment policies
  • Constantly review international assignment guidelines to ensure compliance and market competitiveness
  • Review end-to-end workflows and processes and constantly seek opportunities for simplification
  • Advice, coach and guide team members on regulations and approaches to international mobility, immigration and tax
  • Act as a trusted advisor to all stakeholders and be in a position to influence management on matters related to international assignments
  • Be up to date with changes to immigration related legislations / guidelines and keep abreast of best practices for Mobility within the MODEC group and amongst other companies in similar industry

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in managing international mobility operations and program with emphasis on immigration matters
  • Good knowledge of immigration legislation and procedures for Singapore, China and Southeast Asia countries
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of employees
  • Experienced in vendor management
  • Ability to analyze data and drive data-based decisions and actions
  • Strong business acumen and business partner mindset
  • Good project and change management skills
