Part time requirement: 4-5 hours per day; 5 days per week

Job Purpose

Responsible to ensure correct cost allocation for the projects in order to allow MODEC’s accurate decisions giving reliable information and meaningful scenarios with insights from the financial analysis and it’s perspectives


Responsibilities:

  • Timely approve purchase request and purchase orders and to correctly allocate its WBS on a daily basis..
    Control, consolidate and report purchase orders costs on a daily basis.
  • Timely approve costs such as travel request and expense request on demand.
  • Understand the requirements of the approved cost control processes and procedures to ensure proper implementation in the course of work.
  • Create and set-up Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and allocate resources or any other data required into the system.
  • Review and report accurate timesheet and position rate on a monthly basis.
  • Review subcontractors’ invoices for accuracy and completeness and ensure that costs are allocated with the correct coding.
  • Prepare and submit manual entries such as reclasses and accrual with supervision of direct report
  • Establish appropriate coordination with other project functions to ensure compatibility with the Cost Control requirements and timely flow of the information.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Degree in Engineering, Science, Business Management, Operations Management, or Accounting.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Intermediate/ Advanced Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point
  • Prior experience with Power Bi (Competitive Edge) will be advantageous.
  • Understand about Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Teams (Competitive Edge)
  • Open to part time work arrangement.
